A Pakistani export business run by two founding partners. We start with one thing done well: natural Himalayan salt licks for importers abroad.
Our story
Pink Himalayan salt comes from one place: the Salt Range of Punjab, Pakistan. Yet most of it reaches feed stores and kitchens abroad through long chains of traders, with little say for buyers about grade, packing or paperwork.
Turabi Global was set up by two partners to shorten that chain. We chose lick salt as our first product because it is simple, honest and in steady demand, and because doing it properly means getting the testing, packing and documents right from day one.

To make Pakistani Himalayan salt easy and safe to import: the right grade, packed to spec, tested per lot, with documents that clear customs first time.

Why source from Pakistan and the Khewra region
- The Salt Range around Khewra is the source of the rock salt sold worldwide as Himalayan pink salt.
- Cutting, drilling and packing happen close to the mines, which keeps handling short.
- Karachi gives direct container links to North America, Europe, Australia and the Gulf.
- Pakistan has EU GSP+ and UK DCTS trade preferences, and US duty on HS 2501.00 is free.
How we work

Sourcing
We buy rock salt from producers in the Salt Range around Khewra and check each consignment for colour, hardness and cleanliness before it is cut.

Quality control
Every lot gets a heavy-metal test certificate from a named laboratory. We share the certificate before loading, and keep retention samples.

Packing
Licks are drilled, roped, wrapped and cartoned to your spec, on ISPM-15 pallets. Private-label sleeves and barcodes on request.

Export documents
Commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, lab certificate and the market paperwork your importer needs, such as FDA Prior Notice details.
